FAQ
- What does DPO mean on a Staccato?
Dawson Precision Optics mounting system
There are two main versions of the Staccato C2, the standard and the DPO. DPO stands for Dawson Precision Optics mounting system and it also allows you to mount a red dot sight. This is a plate system similar to the Glock MOS where you use an additional plate to mount the optic of your choice.
- Is a Staccato worth the money?
Overall, I’d have to give the ergonomics of the Staccato P an 8.5 out of 10. They’re very good for this gun considering the price point. This gun isn’t cheap, but it’s a more affordable option in its class. This is not a custom gun and doesn’t claim to be.
- How long will a staccato last?
At its heart, the STI Staccato P is an exercise in the best-of-both-worlds approach. Also chambered in 9mm, which has made a resurgence as the standard for duty use, the STI Staccato P offers 17 rounds in its flush-fit magazine — make it 21 rounds if you’re cool with about an inch of protrusion past the bottom of the grip.
- How reliable is the Staccato C2?
My C2 Impressions: Reliability and Accuracy
They have never been reliable, even after getting custom work. But the Staccato C2 I tested ran flawlessly with all the different ammunition I tried, including self-defense loads. Feeding was buttery smooth, and extraction was constant and predictable.
- Where is Staccato C2 made?
With a lifetime warranty, Staccato handguns are designed, precision engineered, and handcrafted in Georgetown, Texas, and built with American steel and parts. As an American firearms manufacturer, Staccato is proud that over 25% of its team members are veterans and 100% are patriots.
More On FAQ
- How many rounds does a Staccato C2 hold?
The C2 also features Staccato’s new-for-this-model Officer Double Stack (ODS) frame. The ODS grip module is shortened to take 16-round “officer” mags unique to the C2, while still accepting any of the larger double-stack Staccato sticks that come with other models — available in 17-, 21-, and also 36-round capacities.
- What optics fit the Staccato C2?
The Staccato C2 – Optic Ready – Compact Sight option ships with a standard height front sight which, when used in conjunction with the appropriate Staccato 2011® optic mounting plate (sold separately), is designed to co-witness with industry-leading carry-sized red dot optics such as the Holosun 507K, and others.
- How many mags come with a Staccato?
Feeding magazines shouldn’t be a challenge. The Staccato XL flared magwell has been tastefully beveled to feed in your magazines without any stick or miss. The Staccato XL comes automatically with 2x 17-Round magazines, and 1x 20-Round magazine right in the box.
