Over All Length – adds 1.1” when installed
Not only is the SB Tactical Buffer Tube Folding Adapter great for certain SBRs and pistols, it can even be used on bolt action rifle chassis that use AR buffer tubes as attachment points for mounting the buttstock. The BTFA simply screws into the buffer tube receptacle and then the buffer tube is screwed into the adapter. Now you have an extremely portable rifle for taking to the range or carrying in the field. This adapter adds 1.1 inches to the length of pull when installed and can be remedied by an adjustable carbine stock to customize the LOP to your preferred length. The BTFA is not compatible with AR-15 style rifles because of its solid design that prevents a recoil buffer from passing through.
