The N-TAC flipper is an ‘Entry Level’ Ferrum Forge knife. Lest you misunderstand, this knife is anything but ordinary; it is a bona fide rock-star-of-a-knife with an exquisite build and high tolerances. The ‘Entry Level’ appellation merely references the non-customized nature of this limited run of knives.
Based off of the Mordax flipper, the N-TAC knife offers a smaller footprint while carrying over the design cues and performance of its predecessor. There are four handle patterns available on the N-TAC series. This one has the Plates pattern, bronze anodized titanium handle with a tumbled finish and blue anodized titanium pivot, clip, and spacer. The full length swedge drop point blade is Bohler N690 steel with a stonewash finish and flipper opener. The N-TAC has a very high blade to handle ratio, i.e. it has a long blade length for such a compact handle.
As with other FFKW knives, the N-TAC is outfitted with a steel lock insert/internal overtravel arrestor, H.R.D. (Hoback Rolling Detent), and caged thrust bearings.
